Project The offices of Origen are conceived as a perceptual experience, where architecture is understood through vision, movement and atmosphere. Xarquitectos approaches the refurbishment as an exercise in precision, transforming a pre-existing space into a contemporary working environment that is revealed progressively, through a sequence of spaces connected both visually and sensorially. The project deliberately moves away from conventional solutions to construct an interior landscape in which colour, light and materiality become fundamental design tools.

The intervention is grounded in a highly defined colour palette, composed of warm, earthy tones and enveloping hues that permeate walls, ceilings and built-in elements. Colour is not used as a decorative gesture, but as an architectural matter capable of structuring the space, defining transitions and accompanying different uses. This chromatic continuity generates a sense of unity and calm, dissolving the boundaries between rooms and reinforcing a fluid reading of the whole. As users move through the space, subtle variations appear, offering different intensities and depths without resorting to expressive excess.

Light plays an essential role in shaping the atmosphere. Both natural and artificial lighting are carefully controlled to glide across matte surfaces, enhance the texture of the planes and reinforce the volumetric perception of the space. Shadows remain soft and contrasts restrained, resulting in lighting that supports the rhythm of work and encourages concentration. Xarquitectos understands light as an integral part of the project, capable of transforming the perception of colour and adding an almost tactile dimension to the spaces.

The offices of Cruz are organised into work and meeting areas that seek a balance between openness and intimacy. Glass partitions and visual filters allow views to pass through the space, creating a sense of amplitude and continuity while preserving the necessary privacy in certain areas. The Origen coworking space, meanwhile, is conceived as a flexible and adaptable environment, where shared areas take on a central role and become places for encounter, exchange and collaboration. The architecture accommodates different ways of working, allowing the space to be naturally appropriated by its users.

Materiality reinforces this idea of continuity and calm. Continuous flooring, clean surfaces and integrated elements create a neutral backdrop against which colour and light gain greater intensity. Every junction, transition and construction detail is carefully considered to avoid unnecessary breaks and to strengthen a coherent spatial experience. The project relies on a restrained architecture, where nothing is superfluous and every decision responds to a perceptual and functional logic.

As a whole, the offices of Cruz and the Origen coworking space are understood as a single working ecosystem, in which architecture is placed at the service of well-being, focus and interaction. Xarquitectos proposes a workplace that moves away from traditional office codes, embracing instead a more sensitive, calm and timeless experience, where colour, light and space engage in a quiet and continuous dialogue. A project that does not seek to impose itself, but rather to be perceived and inhabited through calm and visual continuity.
