The essence of home is always an eternal proposition interwoven with philosophy and poetry. It can be either a physical container made of reinforced concrete or a spiritual ark that holds memories and emotions. Throughout the years of exploring residential design, we have always humbly questioned: Does the form of a home have infinite possibilities? The couple owners have unique insights into the aesthetics of life. After experiencing the splendor of many luxurious residences, they actually yearn for a place that resonates with their inner selves.

The home the hostess desires does not require elaborate decoration; instead, it presents a simple appearance, accommodating the richness of life. We drew inspiration from this and created a pure realm that can accommodate the interests and hobbies of the entire family, meet diverse social needs, and allow the body and soul to fully relax and the soul to find peace. This redefines the concept of home.

The entire space exudes a pure and elegant atmosphere. The space itself is simple and minimalist, eliminating all complex forms. This is a complete rejection of material worship. We eliminate all forms and decorations unrelated to life and ourselves, allowing the space to remain pure and enabling people to focus more on the inner self while also experiencing a sense of serene stability. At the entrance, we aim to create an independent art corridor concept. At both ends of the corridor, two vertical screens are used to emphasize the boundaries of the space and also enhance the spatial independence of the corridor itself.

This art corridor not only creates the first impression of the home: purity, but also accomplishes the physical separation of public and private spaces, and vice versa, serving as an effective link between the two. We use four offset doors to transition the relationship between the living room and the dining room, allowing the two spaces to remain independent while also reshaping the rhythm of the space. The opening and closing of these doors carefully considers the exclusive and ritualistic nature of the living scene.

We opened up the complex and redundant walls. The walls were treated in the purest way, restoring the original purity of the architectural space. The originally external balcony and the internal space were fully integrated, enabling both the internal and external spaces to expand mutually and enriching the visual and activity levels of the space. Light and materials, two important elements inseparable from nature. Materials are the carriers of light, and light gives materials rich textures and variations. Due to the refinement and processing of the form, light can enter the space more fully. There is no deliberate color coordination in the space; there is only a genuine response to nature. Nature is the scene that humans always yearn for and reside in. We only use real materials from nature to decorate the space. Between black and white, there is a combination of warm gray wood and grass-like dark green.

The pure space adopts an inclusive attitude to incorporate the classics from diverse civilizations and design schools, providing them with the opportunity to coexist here, allowing for a perfect collision and integration of thoughts and aesthetics between tradition and modernity, as well as between Eastern and Western cultures. There are the elegant charm and romantic art from France's Liaigre, as well as the reinterpretation of traditional Chinese furniture by the cross-border brand Shangxia; the armchair specially designed by renowned designer Pierre Jeanneret for the Indian Parliament is a highlight of modernism after its emergence; the classic seats by Danish design master Hans Wegner also exude the delicacy and warmth from Northern Europe. The architectural light series - Tower by the young Chinese designer Cai Liechao, inspired by the style of Han Dynasty architecture, reinterprets the Eastern charm in modern ways.

Objects do not separate from each other based on style labels; instead, they coexist harmoniously in this space. This is not only an aesthetic expression but also a spiritual refuge and a convergence point of culture. Together, they create a multi-faceted atmosphere in the space, closely connecting history and modernity, the East and the West, tradition and innovation, presenting an aesthetic and ideological collision that transcends time.

Each time we sit on these classic furniture pieces, we can always feel a subtle atmosphere, a spiritual shelter carried across from the history of modernism. It is a powerful bearing of life, a worship of classic design, and a collection of historical essence. The pure space, natural materials, soft furnishings, and classic objects all participate in the creation of the space in a submissive manner. Submissiveness to the space, and even more to the people within it.

When we can freely move around the space and stay in any corner at will, the eyes are bathed in the natural light shining in the pure space, and what touches the skin are all the things we love in our hearts. We can truly feel that we are living in this pure material space, and we can also quietly sense the flowing of our inner thoughts.
