The FEB residence offers ample space and flexible structure for an individual who enjoys socializing and is preparing for the expansion of his family in the future.

The overall design draws inspiration from organic modernism and European minimalism, creating a relaxed living atmosphere in a restrained and serene manner.

By seamlessly blending laid-back casualness with elegant retro style, the space is created with a sense of breathing rhythm through restraint, presenting a warm and spacious place of relaxation.

While preserving the original beauty and irregularity of the building, contemporary design techniques with greater expressiveness are integrated to create a rebellious yet romantic, and a disruptive yet firmly grounded atmosphere.

This extremely restrained residence, which retains only the light and scale, offers a place of refuge that embodies the owner's own sensory experience.

From the outset, Hu Rui and her team took the courtyard as the starting point for the entire design. They considered the architecture, interiors, and garden together, allowing each to relate to and frame the others.

The design integrates an evenly balanced architectural structure, exquisite finishes, art and carefully selected design elements, ultimately creating a harmonious and secluded place for relaxation.

Establish a friendly dialogue between people and space in an implicit way. There is no sense of distance or resistance. People and space grow together.

The hidden and the manifest are not mutually exclusive; rather, they represent a balance regarding habitation: order leaves room for life, and human presence enables the space to truly come to fruition.

Through the spatial atmosphere, the depth of materials, and the long-lasting comfortable experience, the residence not only maintains a deep connection with New York but also becomes a peaceful abode away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Casa Doora aims to capture the essence of Mediterranean vacation homes: by creating a dialogue between art, the environment and a specific lifestyle, it forms a unique personality.

Pure space, natural materials and soft furnishings, as well as classic objects - all of these are integrating into the creation of the space in a humble and respectful manner.

The main strategy of the design is to dissolve the concept of "floors" in the residence and create a new spatial order through various structures.

The entire residential complex lacks flashy symbols. It is designed with a "ready-to-wear" mindset, integrating the architectural structure, material texture, natural light and shadow with people's daily lives.

The project starts from the interaction between the physical elements and the voids, providing a well-functioning, cozy and pleasant dwelling for families, and accommodating various lifestyles.
