Created in 2024, the Hedgerow series explores the history of Little’s previous works. Its name serves as a metaphor, as hedgerows are a significant cultural artifact of the Irish landscape and heritage of Little’s upbringing. Woodbine takes the vertical, climbing logic of a hedge line and renders it in cloth: tight columns of pattern and repetition made through seams and cuts.
